Title: Look New! Korg SV-1
Post by: GeneralMusic on December 02, 2009, 08:23:36 PM
Oh my my my!!!!   I had the pleasure of playing the Korg SV-1.  It has an excellent feel, excellent sound.  I can't explain the Warmth that this Keyboard has to it.  It has a tube and can emulate many different famous amps and sounds.  Although, it might seem limited with the amount of sounds, it sound has six banks I believe but you can do so many different effects with and change amps all with knobs, NO!! Menus to deal with or try to get to.  All knobs!!  So easy to change on the fly.  Mostrly for a Piano and Ep people I believe although it does have some synth/brass sound.  The Piano is absolutely Marvelous!!  Even the Look of it will make you go WOW!!   You have to go to the Sam Ash or Guitar Center and play one.   The best thing about it is a comment one of the Product Testers made:  They finally made a New Analog Keyboard.  Now you don't have to buy a bunch of keyboards to get that warmth analog sound without it being digital and no more screens.  See for yourself.

isnt there another thread on this also?

imo they should have included real drawbars for the organ sounds. I suggest a roland VR-760 for half the price, if you can find one. I'd also consider the nord before this one
