Can somebody help me, I've a problem with using the other scales such as the blues scale.
I've learned frm theory online that scales create progressions and progressions create songs e.g. The scale of Ab major goes like: Ab Bb C Db Eb F G Ab and frm it we come up with what's said to be scale degree chords i.e Ab C Eb, Bb Db F, C Eb G, Db F Ab, Eb G Bb, F Ab C, G Bb Db, Ab C Eb etc. I understand even with the major scales you can do the same thing, but what about the blues, whole tone and the rest can I do the same thing.
Im frm Swaziland-Southern Africa and a new member here, there are no music schools there, LGM is my only source pls help.
