Mid-last year the church purchased wireless mics (X-Cell AV UHF-4389 System) and mics are not working at all. I'm looking to replace them and based on the infromation I received, Shure is really good. I also found out that Shure is also expensive. I would like to know what other wireless mics out there are good.
PS. My church is a small church.

Actually, it depends on what type of Shure you're purchasing and from where you're buying it.
We have one Shure that's been @ the church for the past seven years (the church is 8 years old).
We recently purchased a new one for under $300 including shipping.

Yep. I'm not that fond of it, either, because its battery needs to be changed way too often.

yeah we have the same problem with our 1 shure mike. In fact we replace the batteries every sunday with a freshly charged set. We are also a small church so we just use 1 wireless mic.
