Title: Tye Tribbett???

Somehow I missed the whole big Tye issue and I've been reading old post that hit around it. but can someone please tell me what happened and if the group actually split up. ( and yes before you say it I am way out of the loop. but sometimes that can be a good thing.) 


Disclaimer: not looking to or for gossip i just want to know. ;D

I thought I remembered someone saying that Tye was going solo bro.

It seems to me at least from the tid bits i'm catching something went wrong and the group split. but i don't know.

There were some moral indiscretions that took place within the leadership of the group, so he went on hiatus. To my knowledge, GA didn't split but is (or was?) on hiatus. I don't know what his future plans are for GA.

I hope they stay together as well. IMO they should move past all that went on and keep praising God through their music.

he now lives/serves in Maryland as the youth choir director @ Ebenezer AME.
