Carls Jr and Hardees. though they are the same company.... they are different. They dont sell poke chop biscuits and fried bologna biscuits in CarlsJr. LOL.

Yes. It's a burger joint lol. Their food is veerrryyy greasy. My mom hates it. When I was younger she'd never go there for me 'cause she couldn't stand the smell. But I can take myself there now. Ha! Lol. And ya'll naming alot of fast foods that I never heard before. I mean what's really good Florida??? Lol. They already took Sizlers which use to be my fav when I was little. THEN they took Shoney's. They just re-opened it but it's a good drive. Ugghhh.... Florida. I'm moving to the Big Apple lol. That's always been my dream place to live. There and Cali. :)

Speaking of which. We have a Sonics here and I hated it....until I was pregnant with my second child. I started craving the burgers all of a sudden, lol. I had to have it every other day...LOL. Now, I don't eat there all the time but I do every now and then. It's funny how being pregnant can turn your dislikes into likes.

Yes, Popeye's does sell onion rings. They are really good too. I'm a big fan of Zaxby's but they closed the only one we had and turned it into a Taco Bell. My office was a big Zaxby's fan that we all wrote letters to the corporate office. We would order trays from them all the time.

I'm not crazy about trying new things, so I tend to order the same thing from whatever restaurant I go to each time I go.
My favorite fast food places are White Castle, Taco Bell, McDonalds and Burger King.
I hate Checkers. Hate hate. I also don't like Wendy's and never heard of Rally's (though I'm a northerner).
I love the bacon, egg & cheese burrito from Sonic (so glad I finally tried something new because Sonic is the best thing that ever happened to me). I love the mashed potatoes and gravy from Popeyes. I used to like their red beans and rice until a few weeks ago when I was trying to text NJ and spilled the entire container in my lap - which ruined my brand new suit (bought it earlier that day), burned my legs, and got red bean stuff all in my Blackberry. I pretty much hate it now.
I should also note that I used to be addicted to fast food. As of today, I have had fast food 4 times this year - all McDonalds.

Man, I used to TEAR UP some Checkers when I first came to Auburn...but then I decided that heart attack is NOT how I want to leave here. :D
My favorite fast food chains are probably the ones here on campus. Some of them don't have names, but the food be SLAMMING! Then, of course, there's McDonalds...but I haven't eaten there as frequently since December when one of their meals made me sick I had to miss church service. Had my brother blowing chunks as well. I've NEVER missed a service I had to play for before at my home church. That joint had me so weak, I couldn't even muster up enough strength to watch West Angeles :D. It was like all I could see was darkness.

That's one of the few fast food places where I'll get a cheeseburger (because burgers aren't good without cheese). I like the taste of their burgers. Plus they have something like a frito pie that's good too.

My favorites are regional or local fast food joints. For burgers, it's either Whataburger or Prince's Diner (great onion rings @ Prince's!). For fried chicken, it's Frenchy's, the original on Scott in front of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. The national chains don't do much for me.

Locally, the casino's have it hands down. Seafood night is Friday night at almost all of the buffets... good stuff. After midnight at the peppermill coffee shop all of the breakfast is 5.00. They have some bangin' breakfast, too. It's not a coffee shop at all. If we get out of service really late, that's the place to be... if you feel like walking through the casino floor and cigarette smoke... if not, Denny's it is, lol.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a Fridays within walking distance of where you were staying. Also, you went to the Fridays in Towson, by the Towson Mall. I remember that because there was an accident or something in the parking garage.

I don't think there was a Fridays near where I stayed, but I do remember the accident at Towson, and I think I remember ordering JD salmon with loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli from that Fridays @ Towson. Yeah, I do remember that. You're right.
For some reason, I even remember the color and make of the car in that accident in the garage.
Yes, the small details. Yet I can't remember what restaurant that was whose absence made me feel like I had made the wrong choice moving to MD. LOL

If there are more than two cash registers in the same vicinity, it's fast food.

This thread has really operated like "the devil" because Lord knows I've been working since last year to cut down fast food eating (and done a significantly good job even though I have times when I fail). I don't go to KFC often and really no restaurants, specifically fast food as often.

Yesss! and it appears that they put butter on the tortillas... Mmmmm. There is one here in Hampton. No one is on it, but I over there every week. LOL.

Make sure the first Bojangles you try is in North Carolina. They aren't quite the same outside of the home state. There's one up the road from my house that is having all-you-can-eat night tonight. I had to pray for strength on the way home.
This thread has really operated like "the devil" because Lord knows I've been working since last year to cut down fast food eating (and done a significantly good job even though I have times when I fail). I don't go to KFC often and really no restaurants, specifically fast food as often.

Yeah, I gave up fast food like a year ago and cut way back on fried foods since around February. I have to pray my way past Bojangles and Cookout when I go home though.

Miami subs used to be pretty good on a late night too. My dad might be doing a revival in GA this summer I will definitely be at Zaxbys almost everday!

And thank you, BW. I don't know how I forgot Boston Market. That's my hands down favorite, and...... THAT'S the restaurant that I was talking about they didn't have in MD/DC. I remember that specifically because the first place I went when I got back to ATL was Boston Market. I actually got teary-eyed in the drive-thru. I had missed it so much. Their cornbread is the best, their sweet potato souffle is to die for, and their meatloaf rivals mine.

See, that's a personal difference and preference. They don't use peppers here on the East Coast (to my knowledge, anyway...it's been a minute since I've been to one).

I used to live in Philly, and there was a spot called Dawn's on Walnut Lane and Ogontz, and it was dee-lish-isssss!!!! They have the very best fish and grits.
I also like Ms. Tootsies. Though its not fast food, I love 'em... Its on South Street in Center City. Love it!
In Oakland there is a spot called Emma's seafood... Though I havent been there is ages, literally...
Also in The Town there is Everett and Jones, best BBQ in town. Las Palmas, forearm sized burritos, and of course there is Nations! Best burgers in the world... they use Miracle Whip! Mmmm cant wait til September, Im gonna gain all my weight back. :D

Second of all, it's THE Waffle House, not Waffle House without the article "the." This isn't because that's the proper name (it's not the proper name). It's because that's what everyone calls it. You don't go catch brunch at... Waffle House. You go catch brunch at THE Waffle House. Got it? Good.
Now lastly, how you know Mr. Waffle is the knock-off? How you know the Waffle House didn't copy off Mr. Waffle and just achieve notoriety first for its eggselent food??? Of course it catches my eye, suga'... but I havent had too great of an experience here in VA with Ye Old Waffle House. I am quite sure that where you are, they have the absolute best everything... I would expect that much. Perhaps one of the chefs can visit Newport News AND Hampton to help with the ingerdients... and then I can stand corrected... :) But until then... hmmm... ummm...errrr.... uhhhh... Its nasty. :)

I had the broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl (with a baguette), I always order an extra cup of soup with it (which came with a bag of chips), I also had a Mediterranean Salmon Salad, Large Green Tea and 2 Pecan Rolls, which I am regretting, cause I just got a new filling in my tooth. I am full... ;D and happy... The soup is so good.
