What your church do to recognize the church secretary?
Any ideas you would like to share?
One theme scripture “Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:” Isaiah 30:8

That was really thoughtful of him.
Most small and mid-sized churches don't even acknowledge Secretary's Day (or as it's now known, Administrative Professionals Week), so I think it's great that your pastor acknowledged her ministry.
IRT the question at hand, I haven't been to a church that had a "church secretary" in years. Decades, probably. I don't think they do that in Atlanta. I'm sure they do it in Alabama, but not at my church. We have the Administrator (me) and nobody ever appreciates me (until there's an emergency they need me to handle). :D :D :D Comes with the territory, though. Most "support" ministries are overlooked until they're not there...
