Here are some chords for beginners to start playing with.
In your left hand, play any octave chord. Such as C-C. Now with your right hand, play a triad one whole step below the C. So for instance, you would have this:
LH / RH
C-C / Bb D F
F-F / Eb G Bb
G-G / F A C
This will give you nice, full sounding chords.
Have fun and Be Blessed . . . :lol:

You saints are just too much. It is good that we can all learn a little sump'n and laugh at the same time!
Yes, I am learning some more theory and thought I would share. Thanks to my brother DoubleD, I also learned about adding a minor on top of a root one fifth below the minor. It gives you a ninth!
Now, let's come up with a quick way to find thirteenths!

Ooohh, oohh, oohh I got the answer. If I ........ played;
three notes chord in my L/H
+ four note chord (usually a minor chord) R/H
= I've got a thirteen chord. (7 notes)
But don't tell anybody. :D
