Yesterday I learned a few valueable lesson.
Document every little thing.
Keep your documentation. :P
I received a bad review that even my co-workers think is wrong. I said I was going to accept it but after getting home I said I will atleast say something to local management. He said I did the right thing. We were told to keep our reviews to ourselves but i am glad I said something in a limited capacity. We had a dicussion with local managers a few weeks back who in turn spoke with our account manager. When we received the account the other employees on my account in another state did not take well to the newbies. We were a threat to their jobs. Protect yourselves on these jobs. Get witnesses and get proof.

Absolutely! Learned this in class preparing for internship and have learned this in first few months in the real world.

I keep everything. I don't delete anything.
On the other hand, if you DON'T want someone to have a record of an incident, TALK ON THE PHONE. Make sure no one is using speaker phone. There is repudiation then. Email is slightly harder to repudiate. Not saying that you'd lie about anything, but if you have a disagreement with anyone, you should handle it over the phone, as email can be construed and BCC'd.

Emails work a WHOLE LOT better than witnesses.

Mine didn't lie, but he left information.
