Title: Diamonds in the rough.
Post by: Mysteryman on July 10, 2010, 01:17:39 AM
I was at church tonight and thinking about how we let so many jewels in God go. We forfeit so many blessings in people. Sometimes you just don't realize what you have until you lose it.

One example was our old assistant pastor. He has his own church now. He preached last night and brought a word. He is a strong teacher of the word. There have also been relationships we have come across but we have been to busy being knuckle heads that we destroyed them. Some of the best and most faithful musicians have been overlooked. It goes on and on. Sometimes when people leave you really see the effect they had on your ministry or in your life.

True - you don't know the good thing you had until it's gone...

Very true... sometimes I stop and think and realize that no matter what you would change if you could, what somebody else has that's better, or how many shortcomings they have... people are in your life for a reason, and you have to cherish and enjoy them while they're their, because too often they are gone too soon.  I even miss the bugaboos when they're gone, lol.
