Title: How to obtaincommittement from members in the music ministry
Post by: jonesl78 on July 13, 2010, 07:51:58 AM
I listened to an online seminar last night that featured a guy name lindel "something" IDK.

He mentioned that the following things increased the committment level amongst his people:

1. excellence starts with the leaders, they have to be the example
2. form personal relationships
3. really stress the importance of ministry
4. point out how neccessary unity is - (PS 133:1)
5. give members a sense of ownership within the choir ( he used the leased car versus an owned car as an example)
6. ...and much more; this was just off the top of my head.
