Title: Motif as a controller

Hey ;my church is looking at an ES(used) ;does this make a good choice to use as a controller with most current software?As a player,I'm cool with an ES or XS;I think the XS is a safe bet as a controller.But,to make sure it's a good investment for a younger cat to learn/play-what's the skinny on a Motif in day to day use(as a controller).

Maybe somebody who is/has used one could elaborate on good/bad/ugly indifferent?
