Title: Our Church Guitarist is the Detroit Metro Times Cover Story

I'm a bassist, but I'm sneakin' into the guitar forum to post this..... ;D  ;D

One of the guitarists in the band at one of the churches I play at is the cover story for this week's Metro Times in Detroit.  He has quite the history (I never knew!!!).  He's played with James Brown, Hank Ballard, and a host of Motown acts.  The story details a career changing blow-out he had with Berry Gordy and also how he and Jimi Hendrix became acquainted and influenced each other.

good article. lots of things to learn from that story.
