You're boy T-Block is officially in the MBA program at Florida Southern College. For those of you who don't know what MBA stands for, it is the Master of Business Administration.
LGM please pray for me as I embark on this journey. I will keep yall posted on my progress. Thanks and God bless you all!!! :D

Dude. I don't even have the words to express how proud I am of you. That's just awesome. I'll be praying for you.
And uhhh LOL @ "for those of you who live under a rock, are deaf, and don't read in English, and don't know what MBA stands for..."

*Climbs from underneath rock*
Cause I sure didn't know what it meant. I thought he mispelled NBA. :D
But, man, that is awesome! I'll definitely be praying. Stay inspired, keep some dreams/goals dangling in front of you, and seek God. Everything else will fall in place.

Congratulations T-block, I am so proud of you!!!

Congrats. It's a whole lot easier than undergrad...well for me it was ;)

Wow great stuff! How long is the program? What will you be concentrating in? Finance? Operations?
I considered an MBA but the thought of taking classes in management and strategy and such was appalling to me. Hence an MSF instead.
All the best man. Keep us posted.

Congratulations!!! Even though most people know what MBA IS, a lot of people don't exactly know what it DOES. It's kinda like a supercharger for your career. Take whatever degree your undergraduate studies are in and add to that a strong knowledge of how businesses operate, and you are preparing yourself for a career in management of your chosen field or for branching out into an entrepreneurial venture.
Before MBA I was an engineer. Nothing wrong with that.
After MBA I progressed to a supervisor of engineers, a manager of a group of departments, and eventually a director of product planning.
What area are you focusing your career towards?

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the love and support from you all! :'( :D

The program is 1 1/2 years, focusing on all aspects of Business Management. If there is a concentration aspect, I don't know about it yet, lol. The program I'm at accepted students from any undergrad degree. So, we got people with music degrees, psychology degrees, etc. and only one student who got their degree in accounting. There's 21 of us altogether.

I don't know yet. I guess I'll figure that out once I get more into the program.
