Title: Help with new chords

Wassup everybody. I'm just looking for some new chords to add to my vocabulary. For instance, I'll play a song like "O Give Thanks" (P&W song) with the simple 1-4-5 chords and what not but I'm lookin to spice it up some. I'm familiar with 7ths and 9ths but I guess I'm havin trouble with placement, feel me. How would yall play it? (any key is fine)
