I'm really excited about this one. I ordered it on Monday so it should be waiting for me when I get home tonight. It says that its for beginners, but from the previews it looks more intermediate to advanced.

I may eventually get that one too. It seems like everybody is putting out a DVD around this time. I think Wheatworks is getting ready to release a Dobbie Powell instructional DVD: doobie powell always remember jesus.mov (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRaCrOfsEnw#ws)
Hearandplay is getting ready to release a DVD set with west coast musicians (www.gospelmusicsecrets.com (http://www.gospelmusicsecrets.com)). So many to choose from. I dont know which one I'll get first.

yeah, Sebastian just came out with one from John Peters and one With Dennis Montgomery. I thought he had one coming out with PJ morgan but I havent heard any news on that. I'll probably get John Peter's dvd sometime next year.
Doobie's dvd looks interesting, but I wanna see one with Kevin on Organ, or Cory or someone young.
I just checked out the clips from Hear and play and that seems like a good idea to have a few musicians on one project.
As for Jamall's DVD, I spent the last few hours skimming it (its 7 hours long). It has a lot of good stuff for beginners and intermediates as well as things for those who want to know how the organ works inside and out. I haven't see any other DVD provide such useful information on the innards of and maintaing the Hammond organ.

I just bought the new Organ DVD from Gospel Musicians myself a couple of days ago. So far I think the material on the DVD is well worth it. I think Jamal does a great job putting these DVDs together and the Organ DVD is no exception. I particularly like the info about the Organ itself. Perhaps old school, I think it's important to know your instrument inside and out, not just knowing how to play it. It's nice to see some new stuff out in time for the Holidays.
