I had idea of how to share music with my choir and the musicians to preview the songs before rehearsals. I was thinking that the members could purchase a small ipod shuffle (2Gb) and I would sync them when needed.
Anybody else have any ideas or thoughts about this. I realize that some will not be able to afford it and some will not be able to operate one.

I think there's another thread just a few lines down that discusses this... but anyway, you could either e-mail the songs to them or prepare CDs... or give them links to the YouTube clips.

Btw, I don't think it's legal to purchase one song and then share it with a bunch of others. I could be wrong, though. And even if it is legal, there's an integrity issue at hand.

I personally think the iPod thing is not a wise decision/investment. It is easy to get a free webspace to be able to load information. My church has a simple page that all I have to do is upload the song and the song is available in play/download format. Check out my church's page here (http://www.gospel.org.vt.edu/sol)

Tell ya what, your church's page is rather live, homie. The only way it could improve would be to alphabetize the list (as you increase it) and have a rewind/forward button. :D
But, outstanding page nonetheless.

Thank you sir. I can make it alphabetical, however I prefer the order in which I upload solely so people can go straight to the bottom of the list and find the most recent songs we're doing. The link for me opens my embedded Quicktime page and I can fast forward and rewind through that.
I love the fact that I have to do absolutely no coding when I add songs. I just upload them to that folder and it populates it for me.

*slow head nod* Ahh, I see said the blind man. :D
There are some songs that I have yet to hear so I'll be checking it out fairly often. ;)
