Tomorrow my dad goes in for right hip-replacement surgery. We are very optimistic that everything will go well and in God's timing he will be healed and restored. Please keep my dad and the ones performing the operation in prayer. Thanks you all!

Will do, Bennett! Praying your family's strength as caregivers, too.

Praying for your dad and your family, and for the operating staff. Bless you for honoring your parents so much; they did a good job raising you and in return, they're blessed to have you as a son.

Again I wanna thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers and concerns!
Just an update:
Dad is doing well but I think he's still trying to adjust (mentally) to being at hospital not being able to go when he wants where we wants, which is what he is use to doing. I talked to the doctor who performed the operation and he said he might be able to leave Monday....we'll see. Most likely, we're going to have him stay at a rehab place for a couple of weeks. He's progressing but he's anxious and ready to go....LOL!
Keep him in prayer that God will continue to restore him!

He will be okay. My dad had surgery not long ago and he was the same way. It was hard for him to adjust when he's used to being the man of the house and going and coming as he pleases. He even broke down and cried :( All is well though. Your dad will be fine and I'm glad to hear he is doing okay :)

Cool!
-
Glad he's doing well. Yet praying for his swift and complete recovery and healing. I speak strength to his body in Jesus' name.

Update:
Today they plan to discharge dad to a local nursing home (only 10 minutes away from our place) to do more physical therapy. The biggest issue we're having now is his appetite, even though from what I understand it's kind of normal to lose appetite after surgery. But overall, he's still in pretty good spirits and we are optimistic that everything will be alright!
Continue to pray for him and also keep me in prayer. Sometimes it feels like a strain trying to take care of both parents, work and continue serving at my church, but I believe it's all going to be alright!
