I've been trying to figure this song out for a wile now, I know the basic prgression but I can't figure out the lick, can somebody help me out please. God Bless

Jeremy, thanks for your reply, basically I need the part from 0:09 to 0:16, I usually play through it but it doesn't quit sound right, thanks for your help.

Nice selction steel!  Somehow, I've never heard this.  I think I just figured out the progression and main lick also, but like jermeyr said, the bass player just fills it up with great licks.  I have not listened to this entire clip yet, but the bass is on top of the mix.

I'll be practicing this too.  Perfect tempo for me to practice tasteful fills.

Thanks Low, we've done the song once before and I just followed the progression but we're going to do it again in a few weeks and I want to be able to play it as close to the original as I can.

thats crazy. i was just learning this song last night. shouldve come on here.
first to learn the progression, get the album version....NOT this version on youtube. that bass movement is a total distraction. i wont be able to play it like that anyway because my organist wont be on that page, so i have to adjust.

what i've learned (rather already knew but reinforced) playing at a conference all week, is that album runs/licks/movements are almost always useless if the rest of the band isnt playing the song that way. if you know the progression, you're good because most likely you'll have to adjust ANYWAY!
