I purchased a custom series Mapex about two years ago.  I love this five piece kit!   :D   The heads that came on it were Remo so it has worked out since then!

man i agree. orange county drums are so sick!!!!! i want one of the snares with the huge hole in it. those things project so well. but i currently have a five piece pacific, 10, 12, 14 toms and a 22 kick. and i have a 5x13 dw billy ward alluminum snare. i want a yamaha, or a ayotte kit rite now.

I am a percussionist but I play drums too. I'm rocking the Pearl Masters purple midnight fade joint. Fusion kit so it has smaller toms. 10, 12 yatta, yatta, yatta. Don't feel like putting the specs. Porkpie 14" black on black crime snare. That's what I call it cause it sounds like gunshots. :D  :D  :D
That bad boy is clapping. I also use a yamaha Steve Jordan snare.
