Title: Selling Yourself.

Have you ever had to "Sell" yourself, be it to a company, job, university, agent, etc? What are some tips you'd give? What are some questions you'd ask when preparing the sell?

Here's some of mine:

1. What do you want? <-- I often hear people give very ambiguous answers when asked this pivotal question.
2. What makes you different from everyone else who wants the same thing?
3. What do you do?
4. Why do you do it?

To be able to sell anything effectively, you must believe in the product.  So, my first tip would be: believe in yourself.

What part of town do I want to advertise in
What are they looking for
How much are they willing to pay
How much do I want to make
