I don't but I was thinking about getting one. It might be a good special effects cymbal.

I use a 18" with four rivets on the right side of my kit and I just found a 22" at my local drum shop that I am going to purchase for the left side of my kit.  PT.

m e and my friend made our own china cymbal we call it a chash. we used a 17 avedis zildjian fast crash and under it we put a piece of garbage cymbal u want be able to find anywhere else it has a china crash sound hence the name. its kinda like the sabian ozone that spank uses. you all should start experimenting with cymbal stacking diffrent shapes and sizes. we put a 8" splash inside a 10" china it sounds hot and gives you ur own sound try it

yall gotta check out the sabian hhx evolution ozone crashes. they have a 16 and 18. i got the 16 and i love it. i just used it on a live recording session i did. and they mics picked it up real nice. also ziljian has a remix crash that has 3 long holes in it and if u put a rivet in it, it sounds so sick. both of those cymbals produce a nice crash/trash/china sound.

Yes, I use a China!! The key to using a China crash is what happens after you strike it. I like them big, but not too big, 18-22 inches! I hit my china as an accent with my snare or with my crash to give the crash a different sound. If any of you read magz like Modern Drummer, etc you see that they really use them alot in Rock and Heavy Metal. Guitar Center sells Wuhan 12 inch chinas for cheap, but the sound like rusty trash can tops!!! For optimum sound out of your china, buy big!! 16 inches and up. The small stuff is for short attacks only!!
