Title: Motif XF WiFi Features / iPad Apps / YC Shout Snippet

Hello, LGM!

Yamaha just released the Motif XF OS 1.2 last week.  I just uploaded 3 videos showcasing the Motif XF OS 1.2.  I showcase saving/loading data via WiFi and recording/playing WAV files via WiFi and last but not least I showcase some of the Yamaha iPad apps’ features.

Also, I have a snippet of a shout I'm working on here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcPeSxbSEBg#t=07m24s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcPeSxbSEBg#t=07m24s)).  Check it out, I think it turned out pretty cool.

I just downloaded the Yamaha app and will try on my Yamaha S70 XS.

good stuff Jeff!!

in this video;you have an XS + XF;can you sense any difference in the keybed?

One of my friends swears the XF feels cheaper than the XS;I can't tell any difference.

In using both the XF +XS-how do you get around some of the issues between both boards not reading all the same file/sounds.From the Motifator forum;I gather the XF is not backwards compatible?

I don't have a XS and XF.  Do you mean ES and XF?  The XS and XF have the exact same keyed.

The XF can load data from the XS, but not the other way around.

Sorry about mistaking which board!Why would you need an i-pad,couldn't you do this on your computer/save the file-and use a USB stick?

Garage band,Band in a Box,others seem to have similar features
