What is the best way to plan. I was thinking all inclusive is more economical. Is it better to book the flight and hotel separate. I've been researching and some trips look cheaper to get things separate. I don't want to spend over $3000 on a honeymoon. Although cheaper is better. She doesn't mind a cruise either. She wants to the Carribean like the African isles. Someone told me about Sun-City in Africa. She told me about the Carribean a while back which didn't give me many options. A while back she rather stay in a hotel but now she is saying a cruise is ok. How can I get the best deal?

Do the cruise, my brotha. I believe you can get everything for your price range and under.

Yeah, a cruise will be cheaper. You can go on a nice cruise for $100 a day for each person. You also have the option of going to several different islands.
-
have you tried www.travelocity.com (http://www.travelocity.com) ?

All inclusive is definitely the way to go if you don't do a cruise. I don't really have a preference (cruise or not), but if you don't cruise, do all-inclusive.

my wife and just flew to vegas (we are/were broke :D ) nothing inclusive just exploring the city while the sun was up.
It gave us a lot of time just to talk and feel each other out. Instead of rushing from one event to the next
-
I would do the cruise, but there are a lot of shows you can see while in Vegas

You can see shows on a cruise, too.
The more I think about it, if I had it to do over again, my wife and I would've taken a cruise. EVERYBODY I've spoken to about says it's the bomb.

I think everyone should take a cruise at least once just to have the experience... but after you have the experience... it's just a matter of preference. I've been on a few. No biggie to me. The first one was exciting because it was the first one and it was a brand new ship. After that, it's just another vacation. *shrug*

I hope you find something that work out great for both of you.
There are a lot of all inclusive options out there and that can help with the budgeting aspect of it. But remember to keep a little extra 'cause you'll need it for the various unexpected things that come up.

I don't see any cruises leaving at the right time for the date we have and where she would want to go. Although hitting a cruise myself for $200 sounds nice. We would have to wait a week or fly to another city. I don't want it to be a strain. Looks like it will be an all inclusive trip with hotel.

Vegas has more options...imo
However, I've been on a couple of cruises, and loved every minute of it!!!

Hotels are boring! unless its one of those beautiful ones tht looks like a skyscraper!!! Anywayz resorts are on point! Losts of stuff to do! An plus you can get a deal where you can trade your resort in for a cruise @ the same price!! ;-)

We cruised for our honeymoon and it was perfect. 7 day cruise through the Caribbean and with buying things at the ports and doing excursions...spent right at $2500. It was my 4th cruise and her first....but the joy of taking my country girl wife out of the US for the first time was priceless. Let me know the dates and preferences and I can have my coworker price a package together for you. She is a travel agent on the side and priced a round trip flight and 7 day cruise for $2200 for the two of us. The only reason I didn't go through her is because the cruiseship was Carnival and I have reward points with RCI for traveling all the time with them.
Good luck man!

Another vote for cruising here. You can make it a two part honeymoon if the dates aren't just right. You can spend a few days in the port of call like Miami, Orlando, New Orleans, or New York. It will be a honeymoon to remember especially if neither of you have been on a cruise. That FIRST cruise for me was like how some describe that first high. Mind blowing. :o :o :o

Although I'm not a cruise fan, I will admit that that FIRST cruise IS awesome. It's a nice way to spend your honeymoon, since it'll ideally be a bunch of firsts.
