Title: Borders Going Out of Business Sale
Post by: under13 on August 17, 2011, 12:20:13 PM
Most books there are 30, 40 and 50% off. I'm sure they will be 70% off in a couple of weeks as the shelves were still full when I went.

He likes to read. He doesn't like to BUY.

IRT the OP:

Ours are already closed. They literally sold EVERYTHING, down to the bookshelves, tables, couches, lighting fixtures, counters, cash registers... EVERYTHING was for sale.

I like to BUY, just not books unless I plan on reading them multiple times. It goes against my monetary policy.

I could see it.

It even makes sense ... until the price of electricity increases to the point where a paper book makes sense again.
