I'm looking to purchase a keyboard around 1700.00 no more than 2000.00. I was looking at the, MOX8 or maybe motif es7, a Roland or Krog. I play for New Zoin Holiness Church. I current play a Casio wk-1800. I don't know much about the top end keyboard except wish i could own one but they are expenses so i would appreciate any information that might help to narrow the margin down to maybe 2. Sometime i play with a bass player and sometime i don't. I like the keyboard to be an all around keyboard etc..pianos, organ, bases, strings, and recording and so on. I would appreciate any help.

i have a motif es7, got it off e-bay for $1200 dollars. If you have an e-bay account keep checking them out for deals, or craigslist.

Mox8 would be good, as it has weighted keys and great sounds. I'm not sure if you can record on it though. But you can on the es7.

if you don't need wtd. keys-you can do better-I've seen the Xs 6+7(rarer) for under 2 k.A lot more horsepower for the $$$

I have have had a Motif XS 7 for about five years and I recommend it fully. If one is found in good shape(at the price noted which should be enough), it would be hard to beat. For me, 76 keys hits a sweet spot; small enough to port, less expensive than an 88, enough keys to be convenient to play. Also, the Motif XS is built like a tank.

I was looking in the Sweetwater Sounds catalog-the new XF 6 is about 2400;@yrs end you might find one NEw(er)(demo) around 2k.
Or like Berbie said-I've seen XS 8as low as 14-1600.
I'd try to find one local-try before you buy.Might find one in a GC or Sam Ash-where you don't have to wonder if it's "hot"
