Hi, im from sweden and I need some suggestions for my choir for the new year. Up here it's not so easy to find good solists, so I'm looking for a catchy contemporary gospel hit with mainly choir parts. Something like donald lawrence's Giants, kirk franklin - hosanna, etc.
all suggestions are appreciated :)

Kurt Carr is good - "In The Sanctuary" is simple enough for our praise team to do.
Joan Hall has a list of non-solo songs on her Choir site - http://www.squidoo.com/joan-alexander-hall (http://www.squidoo.com/joan-alexander-hall)
Our choir recently did 'Great Things' by Ken Reynolds.
Others -
Ricky Dillard - "God is Great"
Bishop Morton - "Chasing After You"
Reed's Temple Choir - "Oh, What He's Done For Me"
"My Soul Cries Out"
All these can be done without lead singers.
BTW, these are all faster songs - IMO beginning singers and choirs can pull them off better than the slower ones...

James Hall - The Blood
Malcolm Williams - The Blood Still Works
Marc Ivory & Excelled Praise - Holy (it has a lead just ablib but you can sing it w/o)
West Angeles: Oh Give Thanks
Bishop Leonard Scott - Lord You Reign
James Hall - God Wants a Yes
*you can find them all on youtube
*Myron Buttler - Speak (has a lead but super easy!!!!)

Ricky Dillard - God is Great That song goes, and doesn't require a lead unless you just want to adlib... but it sounds good without it.
