This is a general question, Is this the #1 track on the raise the praise album? I liked the sound of the video so I'm trying to see if I can find out which CD or get an MP3 somewhere, but need to know which ong I'm looking for. Would appreciate any info
-
the song is on the raise the praise cd I don't know which track it is listed as. this is her second solo project.

the tag just isn't listed there
Hallelujha you're worth Hallelujha you're worthy to be praised!
-
then again the lyrics are the same but I took a closer look at the chords they are not the chords for the song from Judith Christie

I thought it sounded different when I was playing at home. But I wanted to check with you first. Is there anyway that you can post the chords that you use?

Video proving a bit more challenging than previously expected......
But then you never learn if youre never challenged right? 8)
-
come on I beleive in you remember to use your ears as well as your eyes
8)
you can do it just keep pounding away it will make the next song you want to learn that much easier
I'm still here if you get stuck
be blessed

Well this is not a question of being stuck but I wanted to double check something in the video make sure my ears arent playing tricks, did you change keys going up half a step and then go back down at the end of the song?
Think I got the first two parts, now for that r&b break you have at the end......This is more fun than I thought it would be :D
-
the song starts in Ab rises to A and then for the tag at the end goes back and forth between A and G
so it drops a whole step and then back up again to A
-
This is another check and comes after Ive come to my wits end on my keyboard. At the end of the video where you have the walk going from D to A between walks the bass looks like what is an octave with another note, but I cannot replicate the sound exactly
but anyway what I saw was
D-E-F-G-A
C-G-C
Db-'Ab or Fb'-Db
and those limes loop until the song finishes
Are those what I thought I saw/heard, or did I miss something?
-
yes the notes I play in the left hand are C-G-C THEN Db-Ab-Db then walk up D E F G A
Dm7 wor
Em7 thy
Fmaj7 to
G7 be
Am Praised
RH
C F A
D G B
E A C
F B D
E A C (the last time invert this chord to root position A C E)

Hmmm, dont recignize these....

.........Ohh, I see
D C F A -> Dm7
E D G B -> Em7
F E A C -> fmaj7
G F B C -> G7
A E A C -> Am
So cool...... musmin7, I really appreciate the help
FYI I almost got it, just need to try the part when you jump up to A. But for real this song is off the hook, Ive never heard it before but from a musicians perspective its awesome :D
