$50?????? :o My Sweet Jesus!!!!

But yeah, we've had that convo before so I won't go there.... :D

I have so many favorite JPK songs, but I think my #1 is I Won't Let Go. But yeah, trust me, I could come up with a list of like 20 faves... I love JPK's [older] stuff.

I always have to pause for a second when I see the greater than/less than signs, but after figuring which one you used....I agree, lol

Just remember, if the first word is being eaten by the sign, it's greater. If not, it's less.

Spurs > Lakers  (<--- see how the sign is eating the first word like pac-man?)

Right, because the Lakers haven't been in the NBA for 30 years longer than the Spurs. Yeah, that's impressive.  :P

Actually, it's 20.

So, would this be a better equation?

In a span of 45 years in the league:

11 Lakers titles > 4 Spurs titles

In 45 years time:

11 Lakers titles > 4 Spurs titles

First: the Lakers joined the NBA in 1948 as the Minneapolis Lakers. The Spurs joined in 1976. 76-48 = 28. Add in the NBA's funky scheduling, and it rounds out to 30.

Second: I'm not about to entertain the peanut gallery in THIS thread. Y'all know where to meet me for that.  :P

According to the official site of The Spurs, they joined in '67. They just weren't called the Spurs.  If you're going to a team's history, you have to do ALL of said team's history.

My friend, I said JOINED THE NBA. The Spurs were FOUNDED in '67....they did not JOIN THE NBA until 1976. They were originally part of the ABA. They crossed over into the NBA when the ABA and NBA merged in 1976.

So, that decreases my equation by one title for the Lakers:

10 Lakers titles > 4 Spurs titles

Gotcha. Thanks.

So, who's going to the concert (and paying that high dollar amount :o)?

I guess.... But at the same time what one person WONT pay for -- Someone Else WILL.... Me Personally $50 aint that much to go to a good concert I personally feel its well worth it. I paid about that much - twice - for a Fred Hammond Concerts and it was worth every single penny :)

None the less carry on *in my best brittish accent*

NO LOL -- I went to 2 Fred concerts and spent about $50 both times -- one time was for VIP!

Both JPK concerts I went to were free. I don't know if I would pay $50 to see too many of today's gospel acts.

I just paid $40 for a Def Leppard and Poison concert this Friday. LOL.

I can't imagine paying that for a gospel concert, but I *might* if it had like 8 of my favorite 10 artists. :D

Heck yeah. Would've paid $80. I paid more than that for Bon Jovi. Way more. And if I ever had the opportunity to see Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Poison and Def Leppard together, I'd sell my arm for a ticket.

I actually meant to type Aerosmith, too. I've been multi-tasking, so I got distracted... but yeah...

Now, I'm going to tell you the whole entire truth. If I had a concert with those 5, I would truly pay hundreds for a ticket. Honest to God. I'd dip into savings for that one.

John P. Kee is the reason why I ever wanted to pick up a bass guitar. I love so much of his music, it's ludicrous for me to try and pick any favorites. I'd say pretty much 90% of everything he's made is a favorite for me.
