Title: anybody from Philly or Detroit?

Every few days I see a program called "Parking Wars" that shows the cities booting/confiscating cars.I think Detroit has some kind of truck mounted scanner that they just drive  around in and "beep" if they hit a "wanted tag".

Last nite;a blip said they get 400 calls/cars a day!!! I think in Philly one cat owed 350 for tickets PLUS a 150 tow after a fender bender.Is it really that bad there?

So much for tourism + brotherly love.

dude, I wonder how it'd be in DC. We'd chew those, little parking fees they complain about, up and spit em out.  They whine over $30 and $40, when our tickets are double on the low end
