you can't post shorten links LGM needs to see the www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com) part to know that it is a youtube video it does not recognize youtu.be

Sometimes it doubles up the address-if you click the rt 1/2 it works.

When you're in YouTube watching a video, you should see an address bar at the top of your screen. It will probably start with http://www.youtube.com/dadadadada. (http://www.youtube.com/dadadadada.) That text is what you need to copy (select/highlight it and then click copy).

Then, you come to LGM and in the reply box, you right click and select "paste." That's literally ALL you need to do.

Since we've been working on this for a few years now... lol... I think you probably would catch it in a matter of seconds if someone physically showed you instead of just trying to follow the written instructions. I had a beast of a time trying to teach my mom how to copy/paste over the phone a few years ago. It wasn't until I was visiting and showed her that she really got it. Maybe you can have a neighbor show you?

Post by: docjohn on June 29, 2012, 08:56:15 AM: thks LM;I just posted one in the organ room on the 1 st try!Sometimes it hits,sometimes not-on the organ room clip-there was no header bar.But,there was an "share/embed".Hitting the embed and hyperlink worked;just like something I posted in "keys" the other day.

I wonder if there's any difference in who/how it's posted on you-tube.I notice on some you-tube pages all kinds of adds,sometimes not.

Rt click though on the Mac doesn't give that option LM of cut/paste.

Post by: docjohn on June 29, 2012, 04:55:19 PM: what seems to work about 75 % is to hit the LGM hyperlink,THEN embed ,(bottom of you-tube,then cut/paste.

The cut/paste choice shows on some rt clicks related to URL;otherwise it's grayed out.

it's cool to have folks help!
