Great rudiment to develop facility around the kit. I have used similar exercises for a few years.

Pick up Paraddidle Power by Ron Spagnardi (the late publisher of Modern Drummer magazine) if you are really interested in exploring Paradiddles. (I need to add this one to my library still)

Also, Drum Set Control by Ron Spagnardi (which I have owned for years and still not worked through completely  ::) ) for other rudimental stickings applied to the kit.
