You guys my husband and I need your prayers. His job isn't producing enough to make ends meet and things are getting more and more out of hand. We have been without running water in our home since October 23rd and we are in danger of losing even more than that. He's trying to get another job and I'm trying to do all I can but nothing has helped yet. This is very embarrassing for me to share with you guys but I just can't keep it hidden any more. We need your prayers in the worse way. We've contacted DFCS, churches, and other organizations and we've still received an answer. Please, please, please pray for us! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
I know that none of you guys know me from a hole in the wall but I feel that I can trust you all enough to keep us lifted up before God. I don't know how much more of this I can take to be honest with you :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I know it can be difficult to come forward with a problem like this. But please don't feel embarrassed. We are the Body of Christ and it is our duty and honor to do whatever we can for each other weather it be prayer or even by some material means. Please know that we are praying for you and if there is anything that we can do, please let us know....somebody here is the answer to your prayer.

Let Him lift your head.
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. The whole world, and they that dwelll therein Ps 24:!
You belong to God, and He will take care of you and never leave you, nor forsake you.
Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. - Eph 6:10
Your strength has to be in God, not man or the world's resources. As hard as that is right now, you have to trust in only Him.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. - 1John 4:18
Bind that fear up and cast it out, and think about how much God loves you. For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
Lastly, the enemy is the accuser of the brethren. Dont let him shame you into silence, fear, doubt, and inaction. Recognize his antics.

It is my prayer that God will be with you as you face these hard times, and give you the strength to endure. Throughout our lives we face cloudy days and there is no shame in it. We don't ask for them, but they come unbidden into our lives. God will be with us if we pray and have faith. Don't feel bad to need help. Who knows who will be God's agent in your family's deliverance.
May God be with you every day.

Jesus, I thank you for my friend Chevonne and I pray right now that your hand would be upon her situation even now. God we pray that you would supply their needs according to your riches in glory. God we pray that you keep her family encouraged even in this difficult season. We trust you God that even in this you will be glorified. We trust you for healing and deliverance and blessings, in Jesus name, amen!

Lord, we thank you for our sister. We thank you for delivering her from these trying times. Strengthen her Lord to endure these hard times and ever give her a heart to praise you in the midst of the storm. You are a deliverer, you are our strong tower. There is no testing or trial too hard for you Lord. You provide for birds in the air and the lilies in field and we know that it is your will to give good things to your children. So, heavenly Father we ask that you make these times swift in passing and keep them Lord. Keep them in the mindset that even this is not too much for them to bare. Let this be a strong testimony for them In Jesus Name to bless others who will go through similar trials. We trust that it is done and all things will work together for good In Jesus Name.
Stay encouraged as much as it be possible sister. Hold on until that peaceable fruit reveals itself. Be a blessing to others even in the midst of it all. We eagerly await your testimony of victory regarding this.

Thanks for your prayers and words of kindness. I know some of you may say, "Naw she didn't say that on a message board"...I'm embarrassed about this whole thing but desperate times calls for desperate measures. Let me say this, I have seen people get on message boards and lie about needing help like this....it makes me sick to my stomach. If you'd like to see a copy of our bill, I would be more than happy to email you a copy of it. No problem at all....people can tell lies unfortunately so it's no problem at all.

If you were close to my church I'd say c'mon over and talk to the benevolence peeps as that's what they're there for.

In truth this is why we are who we are. The will always be those who would steal from the graciousness of God's people but we as said people needn't worry about that, we just need to act as we are led by the spirit to and let Him do the rest. Sometimes situations like this arise so that blessings may be poured out on the helper as well as the helped. We were told to lift up one another and also to bring our needs to each other as well.

I just wanted to thank TJ and Savnbass again for their donations. Thanks to them, we are close to getting our water back on...GLORY TO GOD!! Last year, I lost my job and then everything spiraled out of control for me. My water got turned off, and because of my pride, I wouldn't ask for help. Then I lost my condo, then my self esteem and confidence came tumbling shortly after. I questioned God and was all upset because I had the selfish approach to all of it. I was in bad shape.
I said all that to say that you are not alone. You may already know it, but God has huge plans for you. A year ago, I would not have imagined the increase that God would give me. I am praying for you, because I know its hard. I know its hard to separate night from day in these situations. I am a living testament to what God will do for you. I believe God will hold everything together for you. Just continue to trust and believe. God's got it!
Hit me up on FB any time. Call me to vent, scream, cry, or just to talk. I have been there, and it was more fruitful for me to have someone to talk to than to have people open their wallets (though I gladly took their cash LOL).

Thanks for the encouragement sis, I really need it. The hardest part about this whole thing is the fact that I have two kids who are facing this with us. We've had certain people talking about to the DFCS because we're not takin care of our kids. I mean it just baffles me how church folks can talk what they don't know. This whole situation has come out no where. Keep praying of us, my husband has yet another interview for another sales job. Basically the only reason we're not in a shelter somewhere is because of you guys helping us out. I just want to say that I love you guys and I will repay what I owe.

I'm so thankful for your love gifts and words of encouragement. You guys have never seen me before but yet you were willing to help me. I want to thank Sister T for her help as well, we need all the help we can get until my husband get's a better job.

Just wanted to thank all of the LGM family for your gifts. We are so grateful for your kindness, because you really didn't have to help us. Many of you are struggling as well and I'm praying that God will bless you with a hundred fold. My husband is still trying to work in sales but it looks like he may have to take something else until we get back on our feet. Keep us in your prayers.

We heard a powerful Word last night....taken from when Jesus was sleep on the ship...through the storm and rain, He didn't wake up until THEY woke HIM up. The title was something like..."Is Jesus on Board".....He will hear your cry....just know He is there...believe in HIM and don't let the situation/circumstances deter you from His Will....I can't remember everything the preacher said, but when I do, I will type more. The message was very encouraging to me and the church as a whole. Like I think you said, desparate times call for desparate measures...doing things out of the ordinary...well...Praise Him out of the ordinary....because of what you know He is going to do....give Him that desparate shout of praise and worship....(rambling over)

Just wanted to update you guys on the latest happenings. We are doing ok under the circumstances. My husband isn't working at all but somehow God has helped people be patient with us. We are hoping that he gets his unemployment so that we can live off of that until he gets a new job.
Right now we are concerned about getting help to get my meds. They are VERY vital to my health, if you want to help please pm me. We had to use what we had left to keep the lights on and keep our kids warm so that's why we didn't have enough to get my meds.
