Title: Thinking too much...

Hello LMG fam, just wanted to get some ideas on this subject "Thinging to much" and a to possible over come it or to think through if thats possible?  You have gone over scales playing them in 3 different position, Intervals, fills starting on the 3 or the 5, trying not to make them sound linear, and to add to that just playing the song.  With all that going in the brain how do we get to a point of just free flowing bass playing?  :-\

Welcome to LGM. I think is sometimes good to practice kinda busy then you have the ability to be free in the knowledge you have. Other times its good to just take a song and go wherever you feel without thinking about it. When you come up with something interesting stop and try to figure out the theory behind it.
