Yes and without a doubt.  Watching this made me do two things that I should have done a long time ago.

Marcus always makes me smile with his bass playing...he comes up with stuff that is from another world...he is so gifted...

I've seen this cat grow as a player and a musician since his early years with Bobby Humphrie and Lenny White and Lonnie Liston Smith ( way before the Dave Sanborn, and Luther Vandross days) and it's been incredible for all the things he's accomplish,and as I'm replying to this thread I'm listening to " Detroit which has got to be the coldest groove on the planet .

I know this is a Marcus thread, but I'll divert for a second.....I just got back from Geneva, Switzerland.  Was there for the auto show.  Because of my flight timing to go to Geneva, I had to miss Stanley Clarke's concert at the Majestic in Detroit this past Sunday.  Thankfully my youngest son, Justin  was able to go.

The irony of the situation is that about a year and a half ago, Justin and his older brother Andrew played on that same stage.  And Justin played the bass that I bought from Stanley.
