Title: Hatfields and McCoys
Post by: malthumb on August 10, 2013, 06:10:22 PM
Just finished watching the 6-hour miniseries on my DVR.  It was run on The History Channel last week while we were out of town on vacation, so I just now got around to watching it.

Anybody else see it?

Forget the Bloods vs Crips, East Coast Rap vs West Coast Rap, Capone, Gotti, etc....  Those hillbillies were definitely the OG!!!  All the way from the Civil War to the early 20th century.

I read the wiki info on these people.  I can imagine the documentary was very interesting.

I've always heard of the feud but never really heard the real story.  Maybe I'll catch it one day.

It was.  It managed to stay fairly close to the wiki and still be very entertaining.

Until then, as Hasmonean1 pointed out, the wiki spells it out pretty well.
