I've heard this song before and I like it. I'm gonna get his CD one of these days...

I bought the itune single he made with India Arie on Celebration of Gospel. Those two seem to make a perfect fit. Oh how I miss the old days of quality male/female duets.

The only thing that gets me is the black are white part very nice song

The white or black is the whole concept of the song, thats why its titled "No Gray." Its talking about not being double-minded, and we know "a double minded man is Unstable in all his ways" - James 1:8. Then he references not trying to serve two masters; God or mammon as it states in Matt 6:24
God requires a choice. He wants us to choose Him, but sometimes we hold on to parts of the old man and our old lives; "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." - 2Cor 5:17
We cant simultaneously claim both to be friends with God and friends with the world. One has to be the sidepiece. If we continue to have a half-hearted mind about who we belong to, Jesus will have none of us.
'So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." - Rev 3:16
You gotta be hot or cold, white or black
