Get out your bass and listen to the bass notes as the song is playing. Turn up the bass control on the source you're listening to. Listen to the song several times to get the feel of the bass parts. Then play what notes you can catch at first. Rewind and play again. There's usually only one or two progressions and a bridge and maybe a vamp. Some songs are more complicated and will take more rewinding. If you know the number system, write down the numbers as you play them for reference. That'll get you started until someone posts a tutorial. If you are new at bass, you'll be surprised to find that some progressions are played in a great number of songs, and you'll start to recognize them as you do this more and more. I mention this because I found it to be a good learning tool/experience for me.
