Title: bassist tired of playing same old song,s at church mo.after mo.yrs after yrs..

Sometimes a good musicians gets tired , put on the same old shoes to go to Church at 11:00am service, playing the same old musical selection month after month. We need, some New ones sometime to give God the praise.( You can read between the lines"""). be blessed my brother musicians and choirs ?/?

Most churches I've been at keep singing the same old songs.  :D Good luck getting them to change.

How about a church so resistant to change...there is no band! No modern instruments allowed! Just a pianist/organist! Music is only from the hymnals which date back several 100 years! EVERY SUNDAY!

I've been there I know the feeling oh so well! For me personally I got was some brothers who are church musicians that play jazz gigs as well...
