i see some old names are still here, malthumb, dwbass. have not played bass in a while, but just start playing again with a new 6 string my wife got me for my birthday last month

I HAVE TWO 6-STRINGS BASS. I LOVE TO PLAY THEM. 5 STRINGS ARE GOOD AS WELL. I DON'T LIKE 4 STRINGS. THE MORE STRINGS THE MORE OPTIONS. I LOOK AT THE 7 STRING. BUT, I NEED TO PLAY IT TO SEE IF I LIKE IT. GUITAR CENTERS USUALLY DONT CARRY THEM. ONLY SEE THEM ONLINE. AFTER THE 7 STRING I'M DONE. LOL.

PRAISE GOD WITH THE LOUDEST STRING!!!
