-
NICE...Ima use that

Hey Guys,
I hope it helps some body, a few of you used the word fast in your replys.
truth is that was at a moderate tempo of about 164 metronome.
fast would be approx 176 and up after a whil 164 gets to be a little slow
secret the faster you play the faster they dance the faster they get tired the sooner you can stop. just kidding
If you really want to challenge yourself do that riff in octaves on both hands and do it in every key that's how I first learned it then I added the harmony part also challenger your bass player if you have one to learn it and you can do wonders with the harmony part while chording and playing
have fun

Thanks, I'm trying 2 add stuff to my shouting music. :D
-
from off the video......
I sing praises unto thee o lord.......
I like those changes......
I would appreciate it thanks.
-
That was an awesome way to lead into the shout. I love the sound that you have it sounds a little like latin music coupled with a little of Hezikiah's shout!! Wonderfully done. Be blessed and continue to let God use you.
-
umm ummm wow.
-
Thanks for the video file. To those that say that is fast LOL. The old musicians at our church used to play faster than that. Some where around or over 200bpm. It was messed up. They got a kick out of it because people did shout fast. LOL
-
I can not get the link to work. Help me out please. Only some links work from my pc and unfortunately none of musmin7 links work for me. Someone please help out. Thank You

Musmin -- that's was the bomb!
For anyone on this thread:
(As Lauragal mentioned) -- HOW DO YOU DEVELOP SPEED IN YOUR PLAYING ???
Are there specific speed training drills or does this simply come with familiarity with your scales?
Thanks,

Lauren thanks for taking the time to sit and figure this ouit I am always moved to help those who put the effort in to go it alone.
I try to honor all request but time dosen't alow and since there has been quite a few request on this post I'm glad to see someone take the lead in working and sharing with others that's what we attempt to promote here on LGM Share what you learn with others.
There were only a couple of notes that where missing maby just a typo
Bb, A, Bb, C, Db, Bb, F, Bb, Gb, F, Gb, Bb, A, F, A, C
Split (LH/RH): Bb/Db, A/C, Bb/Db, C/Eb, Db/F, Bb/Db, F/Bb, Bb/Db, Gb/Bb, F/A, Gb/Bb, Bb/Db, A/C, F/A, A/C, C/Eb, Bbm, Ab, Gb, Fm, Bbm7
so I took the time to make another video while spelling out the notes slowly.
go here to view.

The real key is to focus on accuracy. speed will come in time as you play the correct notes almost anybody can play fast but your speed means nothing if you play all the wrong notes.
take the time to practice your scales with both hands up and down. riffs and arpeggios on note at a time break riffs up into smaller sections then put them together as one group.
get ot know the keyboard practice in the dark!!!!
If your hands know where to go they can get there faster than if they need directions :)
so let your fingers do the walking as the yellow pages say and your eyes can spend more time looking at God rather than your hands. :D
hope this helps be blessed
