-
zildren oreintal 12". i have one it's nice
-
I not exactly sure of what you mean by that paaaaaaaaaaah sound but i have this 14" meinl filter china that is tizzzzzzight

I'm kinda suck along with PearlPlayer on what chu mean by Paahh. But What I use is a 16" Wuhan Traditional China. It's gives my a good sound b/c it cuts through everything else with being too loud. And its very cheap. I've had it for about 6 years now it hasn't evan cracked just a little bit yet. Really Valuable.

JD, I know what you're referring to (the "paah" sound - c'mon guys, sound it out, and you'll get the sound that most China cymbals produce). Currently, I am playing on an 18" A Custom China. In my opinion, it is very musical, and it emits that characteristic "paah" sound when it is struck. I do, however, want to try the Sabian Hand Hammered Chinas, though.

thax for the feedback i've played the 18" A coustom and it sounds nice. I think I'll try the Oriental and see how it sounds. Im not hatin on sabian or any other cymbals, I just prefer zildjians

What size China are you going to look into?
-
probably a 16"
-
I play on a 14' HHX Evolution China. It's nice and bright not too trashy, but just enough to cut through any groove or break...Along with a 16' Wuhan....

Believe it or not the wuhan 12" china gives a nice Paaaaah sound. 8O
