I've seen those chords on the Earnest and Roline site. I also found an mp3 of someone playing it, pretty decent too - I think I may have found it on the same site. I'm sure you know that link, it's well posted in these forums.

Yep, those are the ones on the site!
I have to say though...I've played through that and I don't know how I feel about some of those chords...do you think they're alright?? I don't think some of those flow quite right.
Just wondering how it worked for you.

It's all in the voicings...if you not used to hearing chords like that, then it will confuse you....But I pretty sure they are right....King David knows his stuff (wonder how he doing???) :lol: :lol: :lol:

Oh no no no....I'm not going off of what I play at all...if I knew how to play it I wouldn't have looked up the chords in the first place. I do not play by ear very well yet, but I do hear very well (if that makes sense). I have a good "tonal" memory if you will and I remember how the song sounded and I know that's not how it was recorded. So maybe it is a variation, I'll have to dig it out and play with it some more to see how I like it now that I haven't messed with it in a minute.

I see what you mean...That could be a variation...but everyone have different ways of playing it as well...maybe u can point out what part of the song that's not clicking to you if you don't mind..maybe we can change it a bit... :D
And seems to me that u hear pretty well by ear to me...best way to learn (tonal memory)...It took me 3 months to hear every key fluently...Best way to go!

I have just learned "I'm avaliable to You" and it took me quite a while until I could play it correctly as there are a lot of chords out there that did not sound right.

I do have a question - where is the part for the "Ahh"'s??? And where is it in the chording up above?? Or do you just keep playing one of the parts beforehand while they sing the Ahh's??? If so, which part, do you remember? I was trying to put it with another part to see if it would work and I'm not gettin it.

I don't think so...If only I can find that song somewhere in my 300 cd collection (I doubt it) I can help you but I can put down what I know in memory if you want that...let me know

The "Ahh's" section of song follows the circle of fifth.
Cm to F to Bb to Eb, Ab and then to G.
I am still trying to determine the chord for the section that comes after that.

Hi,
I read all of your concerns about the "Ahh" parts of this song "Lord I'm Available To You", and the MIDI I made does not contain it because I do not know that bit and we don't really sing it that often.
However as soon as a I know it I will post a new MIDI file to everyone who wants it. (Shouldn't take to long, as I can play by ear).

Kinda late to the party (well, REAL late) but these chords helped a lot.
King David knows his stuff. Made a few tweaks in there to suit me but overall, the same base.
Thanks guys. I just hope I get to a point where I can start posting stuff to help others. LOL... I feel like a freeloader. :P
