ive been getting dis pain in my throat after sing for about a wk or so. its lasting longer now. what can i do? i only just started singing again some months ago, pls can anyone help?

Lemon juice is actually to harsh on the vocal folds (cords). Eating an apple is better and safer. Also, inhale hot steam like over a pot or on a personal vaporizor or something for ten minute increments, 4 times a day. Drink Throat Coat tea with honey, you can get it from GNC. Drink lots and lots of water. REST your voice. Most importantly, you need to get a better vocal technique. One that causes less strain on your vocal cords and frees up your voice. I recommend you getting a good contemporary voice teacher or ordering Brett Manning's Singing Success program. It's working wonders for me. I hope this helps.
