I have been trying to guess what snare was used to record this joint but
this drummer has a real nice deep pocket - For your pleasure LGM FAM

Yea, that was a very nice pocket! At the end of the day, it is all about making "feel" good music. Who was the drummer on that track?

The group is Gospel best kept secreet. minneapolis gospel sound MGS and album is Certainly Worth the Wait
The drummer is called Chico Cockrell and am sure most people would not have heard of him
They have been around for years - Gospel most slept on gospel group.
