See the new videos at the following:
http://www.southpoint4u.com/Keyboard.asp
The one video is on tritones. It is merely an initial primer/intro to tritones. I realize there is more theory to the tritones than I cover. Hopefully someone can pick up where I left off.
The other video is Israel Houghton's Lord You are Good song.
The videos might require broadband if you want to stream them.

Thanks

It’s been two weeks I’ve been trying to figure out this style, Thanks for shearing Weaver, its kool. God bless

I loved the Tritone video. When I have heard these type of chords in the past, I would spend hours trying to "copy" what I heard because I have very little knowledge about chords. So if someone told me, "that was a tritone, " I would be like "a what." The video explained the basics of a tritone and how it is easy to add it to your music.

excellent work mr, weaver, just excellent! and i am glad to see others appreciate your work as well, it takes time to do what you do! and i am thankful for teachers like you! and i notice the support team as well, seemed like ya daughter helped in some of the recording! just awesome..........i don't think people will ever really grasp, all that is involved for you to bring such excellence, but thank god, for your perseverance, and diligence.....most of all your unselfisheness, and care for others, over yaself for the brief period of times ya doing it! ( in reference to ya lessons )
can't wait for more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for everyone’s kind and encouraging words. I appreciate the forum and its vision to promote the gospel music art form. I don’t have sufficient time to give individual lessons – so I thought a couple videos could help interested musicians.
Yes, my family helped in recording the 1st couple of videos. I finally figured out a way to stick the camcorder on the ceiling. My family laughs at how it is jury-rigged and perched up there. I would like to know how others prop up their camcorder. Getting a good angle is a challenge.
Aljeres – I am humbled that you would even take a look at the videos. Your contributions to the forum – and gospel music are legendary. Thanks for the positive comments.

WoW ;D I just watched the clip for tritones. I am one that has used a couple of tritones and thought 'that sounds nice' but never really knew what it was. I'm going to have to sit down tonight after I get my kiddos to bed and listen to that clip it again. Thanks!!

I haven't been posting much lately, but Ian is dropping some serious knowledge on this video.
I also took a look at the Lord You are Good video. Man I really like the bass lines you are creating in the left hand. Real nice, brother. Very nice.
You got me wanting to put out another video.

California MD is about 50 miles south of DC. The music at SouthPoint on a Sunday is pretty dynamic - especially the last 3 months. Our worship leader was Tyrone Powell - check out his web site:

Last Sunday was his last Sunday with us - his pre-released CD is getting significant attention. Tyrone's worship leading, singing, keyboard playing, and drum playing are phenomenal.
