This is a sneak peek of what's coming up next.
You're looking at a 7x13 solid MAHOGANY Stave Shell....
I don't know what I will do with this one... I have a few ideas though...
If anyone on here wants to put in an order for a drum with this shell, let me know...
Price would start somewhere around $450-$500 depending on your choice of lugs, hardware and finish...
Mahogany is a more porous wood and less dense than say maple or oak... Therefore, the higher frequencies tend to be more subdued than a maple snare.
However, being that this is a stave or "block shell", the sound will still pack a nice bite...
