What is the highest note you can play on your alto saxophone or saxophone period; and how do you achieve that note.

ok let me see I bless to be able to play up tp hi Bb in the altomisso rage  A=upper stack is A.G
                                                                                                          lower stack is f,e ,d


im not saying this is the correct fingering i find mant different combinations to work but this is what work for me

In a performance, I play naturally all the way up to D4 (use alt f key and octave key).  I have ventured up as high as the G above that, however it is not always under control yet.  Maybe by this time next year I will be able to do that. (alto)

On tenor, I play up to that G without a problem.  It is a lower pitched horn and altissimo is easier to reach.
