im humble,and i say that cuzz it feels wierd when i get praised for doing so good on the drums and when people be like man ur cold and dope,u tight..i tell them its not me..music is MY MINISTRY and my Job is to minister to others through DRUMS...

To answer the intial post, yes, I'm humble.
As a matter of fact I'm more humble than ANYBODY in this room! My humbleness is on another level man. Yall cats can see me in the humble department. I'll play a super advanced lick from the planet oxymoron, then stare straight at the floor and say a prayer for everybody that ain't on my level yet. That's how humble I am!
I pray that everybody can be as humble as me, cuz My last name is humble.

Still waiting for my Power Center to come in. Thats the one I am really looking forward to! Once it does, I will post clips with the J1, Genera, G1, G2 and the Power Center. I think it will be helpful for people to hear what the different heads do for their drum.

I thought this was a gospel site which means that humbleness DOES have to do somethin' with gospel drummers if you're serious about ministry and not doing it as a hobby and think of it as just drumming.

I know you keep it real in here but i was expecting that some of you do it without intentionally tryin' to start drama when i'm tryin to keep peace.

You don't need to keep the peace. By all means, if you have an opinion & do voice just be able to post clear thoughts, not out of anger, because one of us disagreed. That is how a lot of discussions get heated on here. People end up posting out of anger rather than thinking things through.
There is obviously value in being humble (the like of which you speak) however it does contradict itself if you can say to others "I am a humble musician".
You are no longer humble.
Also, you'll know the difference if we're intentionally causing or not.

#12: Beware of the vets, they will eat you up and spit you back out before you can count 1 e and a....
#13: In your first few months, be more ears than mouth...thats how learning happens.
#14: When you are new to the fam, you are allowed to post a topic describing yourself, your background, your style, who you play with and what your gear is. It is considered rude otherwise. Think about it, showing up to someones party and just making yourself at home when no one knows you...
and another piece of advice for you... Re-read what RJ said. Someone bragging on themselves being humble shows that they are not humble. Dont say you are humble. Show you are humble.

lollllllllll, i wasnt braggin' i was just tryin to see who all had their motives in check so i could chat with them later on, no harm intended, and i cant show humbleness when everybody is tryin' to "school" me.

...what if he truly is though? My thing is this...there are guys that walk around telling everybody that they are humble but in actuallity they are really talking to themselves and telling themselves to stay humble, ya feel me. I meet them all the time at music stores.lol
...now, edough said something interesting on the first page of this thread but seriously, "my opinion" is that it is up to others to tell us this and not us. I think we all have an arrogant moment from time to time or am I wrong on this?
