Title: "It's More Than That" vs. "Hold Out"
Post by: oldskoolgospel on May 17, 2007, 12:25:29 PM
We recently started a gospel choir at my church, and for our first song, we did Hezekiah Walker's "I Need You to Survive."  For our next song, I'd like to do a more upbeat song and am debating between "It's More Than That" and "Hold Out" (both also by Hez).

My question is, which do you think would be less challenging for both lead and choir?  I think "It's More Than That," simply because it only has the one phrase with harmony.  "Hold Out" is all harmony.  However, my aunt, who is one of the choir members, thinks that the choir will have trouble with the phrasing in "It's More Than That."

What do you guys think??
