whats good lgm,,theres this turnaound ive been on for the longest i have no idea how it really goes.. ?/? ?/?
but i made a little snippet to see if yall can figure out what turnaround im tlkn bout...i hear it as.....Db,Db,D,Eb,D,Db,C,Bb,C,Db...thats not how it really is..lol...but im juss tryna get yall to undrstand to see if someone could lend a hand!...thnk! ::) ::)

I'm not sure what progression you are hearing, but I kept playing the notes you posted, as the right hand melody, and these are the chords that I started playing: In the key of "Db" ...
LH/ RH (single notes) (Chord)
Db-F-Ab/ Db, Db Db
D-F-Ab/ D Ddim
Eb-Gb-Bb/ Eb, D Ebm
Eb-Gb-Bb/ Db Ebm
Ab-C-Eb/ C Ab
Ab-C-Eb-Gb/ Bb, C Ab7
Db-F-Ab/ Db Db
It's a simple progression, and I'm not sure what you're looking for, but that's the best I can do with the notes you posted. If there's a song that you heard it in, please post the title of the song so we'll be able to help you further. God bless ... BroAllan :)

I'm kinda with BroAllen on this one. Sounds like a 2-5-1 progression. We need more info doc if we gonna be able to help you.

I checked out the video and from what I can tell, (if I'm listening to the right part) it's basically a "2-5-1" progression in the key of "G".
The short run leading into it are the notes... E,Eb,D, then the Db (C#) is played as the bass note with the right hand playing an "A7" chord, (that is your 2 chord). Then the "D7" chord is played in the right hand while the left hand plays a "C" bass note, (that's your 5 chord). Finally, the progression is completed with the "1" chord which in this case is the "G" chord with a "D" as the bass note.
Single notes E,Eb,D then:
2= C#/A,C#,E,G (A7/C# chord)
5= C/A,C,D,F# (D7/C chord)
1= D/G,B,D (G/D chord)
So basically like T-Block said, it's a 2-5-1 progression with the "2" being a major chord instead of a minor.
Variations of the chords I posted may be used, but it's still a 2-5-1... Hope this helps you ... BroAllan :)

The song is; "Lord Remember Me"
The words:
Do Lord, do Lord, do remember me 16 beats by my count
Do lord, do Lord, do remember me "
Do Lord do Lord, do remember me "
Do Lord remember me " including a 7 beat lick
When I'm in trouble, do remember me----------
I usually play a 6251 and a seven beat lick for the last line. Of course fills are often added to the entire song as Tolbert did. I found the video and the chord postings by all to be very useful for licks and fills. Thanks to all.
